The
umanist Association of Massachusetts

So, what do we do?

The Massachusetts Humanist Association membership participates in a wide variety of activities.

  • We hold meetings on current issues each month. These meetings are open to the public and are stimulating and informative - they are frequently held at Harvard University.
  • Events, such as our solstice luncheons, cultural outings and summer picnics, foster social interchange and good times. Here are some pics from our Summer 2000 luncheon!
  • A discussion group which examines and critiques Humanist related writings meets monthly also. Participation is by invitation.
  • We maintain an extensive library  and provide a broad range of services to both the general public and the Humanist community in particular.
  • We sponsor the Atheist Discussion Group which meets the first Monday of each month at The Philip Brookes House in Harvard Yard at 7pm.

Check our HAM Newsletter or the What's New section for announcements upcoming events!

Some Famous Humanists

Corlis Lamont
